Twin Lakes consists of an Upper and Lower lake. The overall surface area for these two lakes is 850 acres. The maximum depth for the Upper Lake is 20ft and the depth for the Lower Lake is 60ft. The two lakes are connected by a very shallow channel, so be careful when boating through it.

There are many activities to experience at Twin Lakes such as swimming, fishing, camping, power boating, picnicking and sailing. Popular fish to catch in both lakes are Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, and Bass. 

Travel on the Selkirk Loop or make a quick trip to the local rivers for some rafting or floating.

Located in the center of four ski resorts, Mount Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park, 49 Degrees North, Silver Mountain Resort, and Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Twin Lakes provides residents with the ultimate ski experience during the winter season along with many outdoor activities in the summer. 

A local favorite is to visit the nearby Twin Lakes Village Golf Club located right on the lake for a quick game. The course offers well-reviewed microbrews and wines as well as beautiful scenery.
